Opening Times: The show will be open from 9.00am until 5.00pm on Sunday 19th August 2007.
Speed Limit: There will be a strict 5mph speed limit on site during the event. Anyone who exceeds this limit or performs burnouts will be politely asked and expected to leave the show. BeachBuggin' is not a race event - Please save the drag racing for Santa Pod...
Stewards: Please follow the direction of the show stewards when parking up or finding your club area. They are working to help you park safely and efficiently - Many of them are unpaid v-dub enthusiasts helping out for the day so please respect them by doing as they ask. Please note that they will also be able to answer any queries you may have about where things are.
Public Toilets: Toilets (including disabled toilets) can be found approximately 100metres from the show site and are located east along the promenade in the D'day Tank Museum car park. Access can be gained to the same toilets by going over the top of the grass hill (adjacent to the seafront café on the opposite side of the road to the Common) and then dropping down into the D'day Tank Museum car park.
First Aid: The nearest First Aid point to the show should you need it (hopefully you won't), is at the lifeguard station located east on the promenade between the Pyramids leisure centre and South Parade Pier. There will also be a basic First Aid kit which will be available at the BeachBuggin' stand.
Lost Property /Children: If you lose anything at the show please come and check at the BeachBuggin' stand to see if it has been handed in. We will be happy to announce over the P.A system if you have lost anything important (including children). By the same token if you find anything lying about on site that looks lost, then please feel free to hand it in to the BeachBuggin' stand where will endeavour to return it to it's rightful owner.
Seafront Rules: Please help everyone to have a pleasant day and keep BeachBuggin' in favour with Portsmouth City Council by obeying the seafront rules. These include:
Lock Your Vehicle: Sadly it came to our attention that at the show a couple of years ago a small number of the shows visitor suffered at the hands of opportunist thieves. Please remember, Southsea Common is an open public park where occasionally the wrong type of people might hang about. If you leave you're vehicle unattended secure it properly!
Organisers Disclaimer: The organisers of BeachBuggin' do not accept any liability for any loss or damage to property suffered at this event, no matter what the cause. Nor is any liability accepted for personal injuries or death attributable to the organisers' negligence. The organisers also withhold the right to change any advertised entertainment or show feature without warning. Please observe and follow all of the seafront and rules.
