If you want to improve your chances of winning you need to make your v-dubs look as good as possible. Some ways of doing this are:

• Take your photo's on a sunny day
• Take the external photos with a minimum of clutter in the background so that your vehicle stands out as much as possible
• Get close and fill as much of the picture with the vehicle as possible, don't waste space around the edges
• You might be able to improve your photo by adjusting the brightness or contrast using some photo editing software. Photo editing software might have come with your digital camera or scanner. Alternatively you could download some free photo editing software from sites like shareware.com
• Save your picture as a JPEG file. You can usually do this by using the Save As menu option in the FILE menu and selecting the JPEG option
• Re-size your images in a photo-editing package before putting them on-line. Images should be 250 pixels wide by 200 pixels high and at 72dpi. (If you do not re-size your images then our auto re-sizer will do it for you but it might crop bits that you don't want cropped)
