22nd Aug '05 - BeachBuggin' 6 Was A Great Success!!

To those of you who made it down to Southsea for BeachBuggin' yesterday we'd like to say a big THANKYOU. This goes out to everyone that came along and got involved to make it the best BeachBuggin' yet.

We had a great day, the weather was fantastic and the quality of cars that came along was beyond belief. Seriously, even the car park was like a concourse, we could've spent hours in there... So many cool cars that hadn't visited before and which we hadn't even seen at any other shows. Not to mention the amazing club section (thank you for your support clubs), and the show 'n' shine, both of these areas were the biggest and best yet.

Other highlights included the Throwdown break dance guys doin' their thing creating a great vibe with their cool tunes and crazy moves. Also the 'Right Track Scooter Club' from Portsmouth laid on a great display of retro, air cooled, two wheeled rides...

We've provisionally booked the same date for next year (20th August) in the same place so pencil it into your calendars, and by the sound of things the camping and cruise was a popular addition too so we'll certainly be doing that again.

We will be updating the site as we get time over the next couple of weeks. We should point out that as of the day after the show our website has been experiencing some pretty heavy traffic so logging in and trying to use the Online Show'n'Shine etc might be experiencing some difficulties - It may therefore be worth checking these features out in a few days. Hopefully this won't put you off coming back to the website and that you find a smoother service when you come back.

Lastly, thanks to the Testament Clothing crew and the Portsmouth Kleine Wagens (PKW) for helping out with everything as well as the generous support of our show sponsors; Peter Cooper VW (Portsmouth) Ltd, German Swedish & French and EastPak. Also all the friends that got stuck in to help things run as smoothly as possible, including the boys from Bedford (AKA The Patina Police) who leant us their wicked Rat pick-ups to put together the BeachBuggin' stand as well as Paul and Chris for judging the Show'n'Shine.
